The Commissioner of the Northwest Territories, Margaret Thom, has issued a Writ of Election Order that directs the Chief Electoral Officer of the Northwest Territories to issue a Writ of Election to the Returning Officer of electoral district of Tu Nedhé-Wiilideh on Monday, January 10, 2022, and that should a poll be required it be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2022.

Tu Nedhé-Wiilideh electors may access Voter Registration on the Elections NWT website to confirm if they are on the voters list: www.electionsnwt.ca

Applications for Absentee Ballot (by mail) will be accepted beginning Monday, December 27, 2021, until 2:00pm January 29, 2022 at www.electionsnwt.ca

The Returning Officer’s office will open on the first floor of the Det’on Cho Building in Ndilo, NT on Monday, January 10, 2022 at 10:00 am and will receive nomination papers until 2:00pm on January 14, 2022.
